When my youngest sister Susie told me that her daughter Grace was interested in changing her diet to a Whole Food, Plant Based (WFPB) diet, I had no idea that it would have such an impact on my life. The thoughts that ran through my mind, were, "that's great, I'm happy that you two have decided to eat healthy", but I knew I couldn't live without ribs, smoked pork shoulders, brats on the grill, filets with Bernaise sauce, and the whole gamut of foods I enjoyed preparing and eating every day of my life.

In fact, I thought they were turning into some kind of freaks, but I wasn't going to judge. Then they asked me to watch a movie on Netflix. I like watching movies on Netflix, so I did. That movie was "Forks Over Knives", and it started a transformation in my life that I could never have predicted.
